Standard Terms and Conditions

  • Tariff: The rate on the confirmation is for accommodation charges per night exclusive of taxes. Extra occupant charges will be applicable as per the occupancy in the room. Resident guests should obtain ‘key cards’ from reception after registering the extra occupant.
  • Bills must be settled on presentation. Cheques are not accepted.
  • Company Lien on visitors Luggage & Belongings: In case of default of payment of dues by a guest the management shall be entitled to a lien on the luggage & belongings and to detain the same and to sell or auction such property at any time after the date of departure without reference to the party and appropriate the net sale proceeds towards the amount due by the guest.
  • Check-in/Checkout: Our Check-in time is 1500 hrs and Check-out time is 1200 hrs. If you wish to avail a late checkout the same can be extended subject to availability and at additional room charges, 50% room charges up to 1800hrs and 100% room charges beyond 1800hrs.
  • Visitor and Belongings: Visitors are requested to lock the doors of their room when going out/going to bed. The company will not in any way whatsoever be responsible for the loss of the guest’s goods and any other property not entrusted to the management or for damage therefore whether due to neglect of hotel staff any other cause whatsoever including theft or pilferage.
  • Hazardous Goods: Storing of combustible or hazardous materials in guest rooms are strictly prohibited.
  • Management Rights: The management reserves to itself the absolute right of any admission to any person in the hotel premises and to request any guest to vacate his or her room at any room moment without previous notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever and the guest shall be bound to vacate when requested to do so. In default the management will be entitled to remove the luggage of the visitor from the room occupied by him/her & lock the room.
  • Visitors: Visitors are not permitted in guest rooms after 2200Hrs, beyond which guests can entertain their visitors in any public area of the hotel which is accessible.
  • Government Rules & Regulations: Guests are requested to observe the Govt Rules & Regulations in force from time to time in respect of registration alcoholic drinks firearms etc.
  • Amendment Rules: The management reserves to itself the right to add or to amend any of the above term conditions & rules.
  • Disputes: All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Bangalore courts only.
  • The company’s anti-sexual harassment policy applies to all guest staying in the hotel and persons involved in the operations and prohibits harassment by any guest or team member of the company towards other guests or team members and stakeholders including contractors etc. you will be required to comply with the various positive work environment policies.


    • Refund Policy: The hotel has the right to collect advance deposits towards future reservations and has the right to deny refund if,
     
  •   The reservation is cancelled outside the cancellation period (defined by the hotel and is subject to change without prior notice, kindly contact dutymanager@otiumbangalore.com to check on the updated policy).
  •   The reservation is a “No Show”
  •   Terms and condition as per contract

    • The refund will be processed onto the same mode of payment when received, i.e if an advance is received via credit card, the refund will be processed back onto the same credit card.

    • The hotel will deduct applicable bank charges and commission and then process the refund.

    • Dissemination of personal information by Otium Bangalore: Otium Bangalore reserves its rights to (a) collect, analyze and disseminate aggregate site usage patterns of all its visitors; and (b) hold on-line contests and surveys in the course of its business and as permitted by applicable law, and it reserves its right to use and disseminate the information so collected to enhance its services to the visitors with a view to enhancing services to its visitors. This includes sharing the information with its holding and affiliate companies as a general business practice.

    • Limitation of liability of Otium Bangalore: While Otium Bangalore assures you that it will do its best to ensure the privacy and security of the Visitor Information, it shall not be responsible in any manner whatsoever for any violation or misuse of the Visitor Information by unauthorized persons consequent to the misuse of, or fraudulent activities relating to, the internet / software database / hardware of the concerned hotel or resort.

    • Otium Bangalore reserves its rights to revise this policy from time to time at its discretion with a view to making the policy more user friendly.

    • In the design of the Website, we have taken care to draw your attention to this policy so that you are aware of the terms under which you may decide to share any Visitor Information with us. Accordingly, should you choose to share any Visitor Information with us, Otium Bangalore will assume that you have no objections to the terms of this policy.
